As a Network Design Technician at Last Mile working under the Icosa Water brand, you will provide technical (design) and administrative support to the Network Manager and the wider team to assist in the successful delivery of the potable water and wastewater projects throughout the NAV process.

Your responsibilities as a Network Design Technician:

  • Provide support to a small team of technical and administrative staff delivering water and wastewater projects.
  • Produce detailed potable water designs to Icosa Water’s design specifications and carry our peer review and sign off designs produced by others.
  • Work closely with framework contractors to formulate and price engineering solutions that deliver commercial benefits for our clients.
  • Production of tender designs and costs to support the Business Development Team in winning work.
  • Assist in Producing Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as Highway Authorities, Land Agents, and Local Incumbent Water Companies in order to secure permissions necessary for the execution of the work.

 

Experience / Knowledge:

  • Competence in using Auto CAD is desired.
  • Potable and/or Wastewater experience is essential.
  • We will also consider someone with a background from other utility fields.
  • minimum of or working towards a HNC in Engineering (preferred)
