As our Project Management team continues to grow, we are looking for a talented Construction Manager (Utilities) to join us and play a key role in our continued success.
As a Construction Manager (Utilities), you will lead, support and influence a team of Project Managers to deliver multi utility projects that meet customer requirements, while maintaining Last Mile’s high standards for safety, cost and quality.
This role is classed remote; however, we are looking for successful candidate to cover the London region.

Your responsibilities as a Construction Manager (Utilities):
- Lead and support a regional Project Management team to deliver projects on time, within budget and to high-quality standards.
- Build a consistent team approach by encouraging collaboration, shared ideas and strong team working.
- Promote a strong Health, Safety and Quality culture across all project activity.
- Monitor commercial and financial performance, ensuring regular reporting and effective use of Last Mile systems.
- Maintain clear communication with customers, internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support team development through regular one-to-one reviews, HR responsibilities, customer meetings and continuous improvement activity.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Electrical bias experience with strong DNO/IDNO industry experience
- Previous track record of managing and delivering on multiple projects and the related financial performance
- A good understanding of the new connection utility industry
Qualifications
- Managing Health and Safety qualification e.g. IOSH or NEBOSH
- HNC e.g. In an Engineering discipline, ideally Electrical & Electronic engineering
- Business leadership/management qualification (desirable)
- Previous utility-based skill qualifications
