Project Manager – Leeds/Wakefield

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead multi-utility infrastructure projects from contract award through to adoption and closeout. You’ll keep delivery safe, on time and within budget, while making sure quality, scope, contract and regulatory requirements are met.
You’ll be the key link between clients, utility providers, contractors, asset owners, local authorities and internal teams across residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. With strong planning, clear communication and confident commercial control, you’ll manage risk, drive progress and deliver a great customer experience.

Your responsibilities as a Project Manager:
- Lead the delivery of multi-utility projects, keeping programmes on track, within budget and aligned to contract requirements.
- Plan and coordinate site activity, resources, civils works, plant, materials and connections to support smooth project delivery.
- Work closely with clients, utility providers, contractors, asset owners, local authorities and internal teams to keep projects moving.
- Champion safe, high-quality working practices, including RAMS, incident reporting, corrective actions and NRSWA compliance.
- Manage project financials, including profit and loss, forecasting, cash flow, billing, variations and cost to complete.
- Deliver a positive customer experience by managing risks, expectations, handover documentation and final project closeout.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Experience operating in the utility or construction industries, or similar sectors
- Commercial acuity and demonstrable project, financial and contract management skills
- Good IT skills.
- Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
Qualifications
- HNC in an engineering discipline or similar appropriate and equivalent qualification or at least 5 years’ experience holding a similar position.
- Health & Safety qualification including Site Safety training, IOSH, NEBOSH, etc. (desirable)
