Trainee Project Manager – Cornwall

As a Trainee Project Manager at UKPS (part of the Last Mile Group), you’ll undertake a structured two-year training and development programme, guided by experienced Project Managers and Senior Construction leaders. By the end, you’ll be ready to lead your own projects, driving them to success.

Your responsibilities as a Trainee Project Manager:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to supervise teams and drive project success.
- Play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency while delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Create essential project documentation, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements, to support seamless execution.
- Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, clients, and network operators to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Take ownership of material management and provide dynamic progress updates to keep everyone on track.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Previous experience in utilities or a related field.
- A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
- Eagerness to develop and grow management capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
