About the opportunity:

We are currently looking for a permanent Sales & Design Technical Coordinator to join our growing Sales and Design department at our Hamilton Head Office.

As a Technical Coordinator you will provide efficient, effective, and professional administrative support internally to the Sales, Design and Estimating team and other business customers as directed. You will provide a comprehensive office support service for the Sales function to facilitate the operation of the organisation.

Your responsibilities:

  • Obtaining points of connection from UK DNO’s 
  • Obtaining CSEP’s from UK GT’s 
  • Obtaining Water POC’s from incumbent Water Companies      
  • Administration of Asset Values 
  • Completing Consumption Estimators for Gas and Electric
  • Completing Water Calculations for applications
  • Managing Multiple Mailboxes & Portals 
  • Sending Small Value Work Variations to clients 
  • Assisting Designers with Design Approval Admin duties throughout the design approval process for all utilities including submissions to the incumbents and chasing clients for mandatory information required for design approval
  • Liaising with our Asset Owners
  • Creating Purchase Orders – accurately, ensuring budgets are in place
  • Issuing Approved drawings to clients for all utilities and MPAN/MPRNS to clients 

 

Experience / Knowledge:

Essential:

  • IT literate with ability to competently use software packages to complete work
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

  • Understanding of utility/ construction sector
  • Experience of working experience in a similar technical administrative role in the utilities industry, advantageous but full training will be give

Qualifications:

  • 4 GCSE’s at Grade C or above or equivalent National 4/5’s

Desirable:

  • NVQ in administration
