Looking for a new opportunity in a technical role? Do you excel at building relationships and have exceptional communication skills? Icosa Water has a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our team!

As a Technical Administrator, you will provide reliable and efficient administrative support for our Engineering department, specifically in the design and build process. Your focus will be on delivering timely service to both internal and external customers, while also creating and utilising reports to prioritise daily tasks and support process improvement.

Role Responsibilities

  • Processing of scheme acceptance emails from sales/Last Mile Asset Management (LMAM)
  • Creation of project codes and scheme files
  • Registration of schemes on the Project Design and Delivery Tracker and Dynamics
  • Send out networks ‘welcome email’ and monitor incoming correspondence, ensuring that the information is disseminated to the relevant teams and team members
  • Maintain the scheme registration tabs in the Design and Delivery tracker to ensure that incoming and missing information is recoded
  • Use the Design and Delivery Tracker to produce weekly ‘jeopardy reports’ for team members
  • Manage and monitor the Networks inbox, ensuring emails are disseminated or flagged to the correct team members and departments (using area allocation lists)
  • Participate in weekly Point of Connection (POC)/Point of Discharge (POD) meetings with Last Mile Asset Management (LMAM) and record any minutes

About you

We are looking for in a successful candidate:

  • Organised, methodical approach to work with excellent time management skills
  • Good verbal and writing communication and able to build relationships at all levels
  • Able to work with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to adapt to commercial / in-house software packages.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a similar technical administrative role.
  • Ability to successful organise workload to achieve required outcomes
  • Confident interpreting plans / drawings and documentation
