LV Laterals Team Leader – London

As an LV Laterals Team Leader at UKPS (part of the Last Mile Group), you’ll focus on projects within the M25 and surrounding areas, managing multiple sites simultaneously. This role involves leading a two-person team while collaborating with other Laterals teams. Your expertise will drive the installation of electrical supplies from multi-service distribution boards to corresponding apartments, ensuring precision and quality at every stage.

Your responsibilities as a LV Laterals Team Leader:
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is conducted safely, adhering to UKPS WIRS & GIRS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies, including completing risk assessments and reporting incidents or near misses.
- Technical Excellence: Install, Terminate and test all Laterals installs to UKPS standards, ensuring compliance with operational procedures, method statements, and deliver all installs to a high-quality level.
- Team Leadership & Oversight: Supervise personnel, subcontractors, and team operations to uphold high standards of safety, workmanship, and team performance.
- Project Coordination: Manage on-site administration, ensure proper use of tools and materials, oversee material deliveries, and communicate project delays/issues to the LV installation Manager.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation to a high standard, and foster strong communication with internal Laterals members and Project Managers.
Experience / Knowledge:
- City and Guilds Elec Improver level.
- Must be experienced in the workings of larger sites in cities.
- Worked in the electrical industry.
- Been a Team leader or have experience of leading people.
Qualifications:
- EUSR or ECS card
- Full UK driving licence
- First aid certification (not essential)
