This is a fantastic apprenticeship opportunity for someone who is keen to start their career in finance and learn from an experienced, supportive team.
As a Junior Credit Controller (Apprentice), you’ll gain hands-on experience in managing and maintaining the customer ledger while working closely with our Credit Control and wider Finance teams. We’re looking for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service, communicates confidently both verbally and in writing, and is eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced finance environment.

Your responsibilities as a Junior Credit Controller (Apprentice):
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate records, ensuring cash receipts are correctly allocated and account information is kept up to date.
- Support the collection of outstanding payments, contacting customers by phone and email to help ensure invoices are paid within agreed terms.
- Investigate and assist with resolving payment and invoice queries, working with customers and internal teams to address issues efficiently.
- Maintain credit control reports and records, including payment promises, aged debt information and other key account updates.
- Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues, providing excellent service and supporting the wider Finance team with day-to-day credit control activities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- IT Literate with use of Microsoft Packages
