About the opportunity:
We are currently looking for a permanent EVCP Site Manager to join our growing Operations department to cover the Northwest of England region.
As an EVCP Site Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day site management of EVCP projects to ensure that they are delivered safely, on-time and to budget, whilst coordinating direct labour, subcontractors, materials, and deliveries on-site.
You will also be responsible and accountable for site Health & Safety and our responsibilities under the Construction, Design & Management regulations (CDM). They will coordinate all pre-start, progress, and handover meetings.

Your responsibilities:
- Manage the Civils and Electrical teams to ensure effective and efficient delivery of scheduled works and site supervision to ensure compliance with safety and technical requirements.
- Ensure compliance with onsite activities to enforce company compliance with current legislation including processes, procedures, and competencies.
- Drive efficiencies and continuous improvements focusing on quality, safety, cost, and project delivery.
- Ensure materials are to the correct specification and available to deliver projects inline with the programme of works.
- Demonstrate, implement, and enforce high standards of workmanship and safety in all areas. This includes the work of subcontractors employed to undertake work on behalf of Energetics.
- Ensure compliance of Health, Safety and Wellbeing of all teams whilst on site.
- Conduct onsite Health & Safety / Quality of work audits on operational teams to ensure high standards of work and equipment maintenance. Close out any corrective actions in a timely manner and within company SLAs.
- Ensure site installations are carried out to the standard expected by Energetics, Client and relevant regulations.
- Monitor site to ensure efficiency and productivity on projects within agreed timescales.
- Ensure that the project satisfies the commercial performance required including margin and cashflow and work closely with the PM and QS to ensure appropriate commercial resolution of construction variations, contract-charges, and disputes.

- Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
- Craft Qualification
Attributes:
- Understanding of utility/ construction sector
- Knowledge of CDM regulations
- Excellent knowledge of BS7671 IET Wiring regulations and NERS legislation.
- Identify hazards and health and safety precautions.
- Be Conversant with testing procedures.
- Ability to apply Company design/planning procedures and requirements.
- IT literacy and ability to use computer packages to area of work. Numerate and accurate when working with figures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to use Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, and Access Databases.
- Strong Communicator, Flexible, willing to adapt to new tasks and duties.
- Organised, methodical approach to work with excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player able to support the team.
