About the opportunity:
We are actively seeking a full-time Electrician – EV Charging to become a vital member of our expanding Resources department and contribute to our recently established EV Charging team, responsible for either the Midlands or North of London.
In this capacity as an NICEIC Qualified Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of state-of-the-art EV charging points downstream (from the substation) for car charging forecourts.
Moreover, you may be called upon to collaborate with our LV Installations (Laterals) Team periodically, enhancing their efforts to deliver top-notch services to our valued customers.

Your responsibilities:
- Installation, testing and commissioning of charging forecourts and LV Installation works (laterals).
- Provide timely feedback to the Qualified Supervisor or Project Manager regarding site progress.
- Identify and communicate any threats to timely completion of projects.
- Promote and demonstrate a culture of Health, Safety & Quality at all times and adhere to all UKPS safety procedures
- Ensure all works are carried out to UK Power Solutions Ltd / DNO specifications
About you
Experience / Knowledge:
- EV charging forecourt installation experience (Essential)
- LV installations (laterals/Multi Service Distribution Board’s)
- Small power and lighting boards, mains terminations
Qualifications:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regs (City and Guilds 2382-22) (Essential)
- SHEA Power
Attributes:
- High level of workmanship
- Excellent attention to detail on all aspects of work
- IT literate – able to use MS Office programmes including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Ability to read and understand design drawings.
- Physically able to carry out manual handling duties associated with the role.
- Must be able to drive in the UK and be over the age of 21 (due to insurance restrictions)
