As a Design Support Technician at Last Mile working under the UKPS brand, you will work alongside our experienced Design & Planning Engineers to assist with the design and planning of new electricity connections.

This is an exciting opportunity for a school leaver to kickstart their career in electrical design with a growing independent company that operates nationally. You'll have the chance to develop your skills and work towards an Electrical Engineering qualification, with the ultimate goal of becoming a qualified Design and Planning Engineer.

Your responsibilities as a Design Support Technician:

• Ordering Ordnance Survey data                                 
• Creating Health and Safety plans
• Assisting with Earthing Data reports
• Design submission pack preparation
• Preparing and submitting electrical designs for approvals to Networks
• Facilitate project handovers between design and construction departments.

Experience / Knowledge:

•  Administrative experience in the utility sector is desirable but not essential.
