Job Advert Details
About the opportunity:
We are currently looking for a permanent BI Developer to join our growing Finance department at our Hamilton Office.
As a BI Developer, you will be at the heart of our data and helping to shape the design, development, and delivery of reporting across the company. Reporting to the BI Manager, you will work closely with all departments and relevant stakeholders to gather, translate, and build data requirements into user friendly and eye-catching reports using Qlik in the first instance. As we embark on a transition to Power BI in the coming months, you’ll use your experience and skills to help shape the next evolution of reporting.
You will be expected to learn, maintain, and develop ETL processes and dashboards following principles that have already been established, however, you will also have the opportunity and scope to influence the implementation of future projects. Over time you will become more self-sufficient and will play a key role in delivering complicated and technically challenging project solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, relaxed, yet committed environment, whereby you will be able to expand your personal skills and take them to the next level. You will explore and learn new technologies, ultimately setting yourself up for a successful and progressive career in Business Intelligence.
