About the opportunity:
We are currently looking for a permanent Asset Adoption Development Manager to join our growing Asset Adoption department at our Glasgow Office.
As an Asset Adoption Development Manager, you will be focused on growing the Last Mile Asset Management (LMAM) business and developing our wider asset adoption capabilities. The role will involve delivering areas of business growth within LMAM, including water, wastewater, heat, fibre and future network opportunities that may be identified. Forging and building relations with internal and external stakeholders to develop new products, initiatives and growing LMAM’s asset portfolio and integrating new asset adoption opportunities into LMAM’s business as usual processes.

Your responsibilities:
- Supporting the development and delivery of long-term organisational strategy
- Delivering new products and potential business growth opportunities
- Working with all business functions to develop new products, processes and systems
- Demonstrating excellent leadership skills and staff development capabilities
- Working closely with business functions to develop operational systems and processes to support business growth
- Presenting findings, projections and recommended actions
- Conducting research and analyses of business opportunities, operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc.
- Planning, implementing and managing project delivery
- Implementation and project management of strategic development opportunities.
- Monitoring and reporting on progress of strategic development initiatives and operational projects.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Experience of developing and implementing strategic growth areas within utility connections, construction or a similar sector.
- Experienced in engineering or utility discipline.
- A degree in business or related field or demonstrable industry experience to an equivalent level
